Key Stage 2 ∙ Years 3–6 ∙ Ages 7–11
For children aged 7–11 (Years 3–6)
Choosing the right primary school is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your child. These early years shape not only academic success but also confidence, curiosity, friendships, and character.
At Cortex Online Academy Primary School, every child is known, encouraged, and inspired to succeed. Through engaging live lessons, experienced teachers, small class sizes, and a nurturing school community, we help children build strong academic foundations while developing confidence, character, and a lifelong love of learning. Our British curriculum is enriched with Arabic and Islamic Studies, giving children the knowledge, values, and skills they need to flourish in an ever-changing world.
At Cortex, Students benefit from:
A structured and engaging curriculum that builds strong foundations in Arabic, Islamic Studies, English, Mathematics, Science, and the wider curriculum, preparing children for success in secondary education.
Academic achievement is strengthened through character development, Islamic learning, and values-based education.
Children learn in real time through interactive lessons where they can ask questions, participate in discussions, and receive immediate support from experienced teachers.
Every live lesson is recorded, allowing children to revisit learning, catch up after absences, or reinforce topics at their own pace.
With carefully limited class numbers, teachers can understand each learner and provide personalised attention.
We believe education works best when school and parents work together. Regular communication, academic updates, and pastoral support ensure every child receives the encouragement they need to flourish.
Children build friendships, work together on projects, and participate in school events and clubs, creating a genuine sense of belonging despite learning online.
From coding and digital literacy to creative projects, STEM activities, and collaborative learning, children develop the confidence and skills needed for an ever-changing world.
Every school day is carefully structured to provide a balance of academic learning, spiritual development, creativity, and personal growth. Live lessons, regular breaks, and tutor support help children stay engaged while building confidence and independence.

At Cortex Online Academy, we combine the highest standards of British education with Islamic values, personalised teaching, and future-ready learning. Every child is supported academically, socially, and spiritually, helping them grow into confident, compassionate, and capable young people.
Unlike many primary schools where one teacher delivers most subjects, Cortex students are taught by specialist educators in key areas, including Mathematics, Science, Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Digital Literacy. Each teacher brings subject expertise, enthusiasm, and experience, ensuring lessons are engaging, challenging, and tailored to help every child succeed.
Qur'an memorisation (Hifz) is an integral part of our daily timetable, providing children with the opportunity to strengthen their recitation, memorisation, and understanding in a calm and supportive environment. By incorporating Hifz into the school day, students develop discipline, spiritual awareness, and a deeper connection with their faith alongside their academic studies.
Every lesson at Cortex is taught live by experienced teachers who encourage discussion, questions, collaboration, and active participation. Children interact with their classmates, receive immediate feedback, and benefit from personalised support throughout every lesson. For added flexibility, all lessons are recorded so students can revisit learning whenever they need extra reinforcement or catch up after an absence.
Science comes to life through interactive investigations, virtual experiments, and enquiry-based learning. Our virtual science labs allow children to observe, explore, and test scientific ideas in a safe and engaging environment, developing curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine enthusiasm for discovery.
Technology is woven naturally into everyday learning. From the primary years, students develop essential digital skills, including online safety, coding, problem-solving, and computational thinking. These future-ready skills prepare children to use technology confidently, responsibly, and creatively in an increasingly digital world.
Learning doesn't stop when the school day ends. Every Sunday and Wednesday, students are invited to join one hour of free after-school clubs where they can explore new interests, build friendships, and develop confidence beyond the classroom. Whether through STEM, coding, arts and crafts, reading, languages, public speaking, or Islamic enrichment, our clubs provide a fun, supportive environment where children can discover their passions and become active members of our global school community.
